Sophie is a culturally diverse person with early roots in the U.S.A. Over the course of her career, she developed a keen sense of coaching which has evolved through her work with diverse individuals and groups ranging from expats, corporate, executives, educators, K12 students to university students, homeless people and refugees.
Her early exposure in training started in 2000 when she was actively involved with NGO’s such as PEMADAM and PROSTAR. Her responsibilities varies from coaching juveniles to educating her villagers on the awareness of HIV and AIDS. These contribution landed her an award as the youngest counsellor at the age of 21.
Back in 2008, during her service with Malaysia Airlines, she won 2 awards as MH Star of the month for her role in the success of Malaysian Hospitality “Going Beyond Expectation” campaign. Moving forward, she successfully completed her Cambridge CELTA qualification and moved to Cambodia where she spearheaded a vocational school for under privileged teenagers with a local NGO owned by Khazanah National Berhad.
Applying her talents to encourage learners to embrace education using language skills, social skills and life skills. Coming back to Malaysia, she ventures her way through delivering more soft skills training and creating content for numerous Corporates. Each module and syllabus are bespoke to meet the clients need. Making sure that the training given are impactful for personal growth as well as align with the company’s aspiration.
In 2017 she studied 21st Century Skills and introduced the methodology to Private and International Schools across Indonesia. She trained and coached Teachers and K-12 pupils on the importance of Values in the world of technology.
She continues to lead with innovative method to further assist in skilling and empowering learners with the best learning experience. She is an energetic and empathetic trainer. Learners find her approachable and highly motivated.
